Technical Requirements
• Crops/Timing: Pre-emergence or early post-emergence soil application in sugarcane, cotton, banana/citrus & other orchards, pineapple, rubber/tea (as local label allows). Can also be used for non-crop / industrial bare-ground total vegetation control.
• Dose: Crop use typically 1.0–4.0 kg product/ha (≈0.8–3.2 kg a.i./ha), adjusted by soil OM & texture (lighter/sandy + low OM → lower rate; heavier → higher). Non-crop bare-ground: up to 5–10 kg product/ha.
Product Performance
• Action: PSII inhibitor (urea) → blocks photosynthesis; absorbed mainly via roots (with some foliar contact) and moves in xylem → seedlings chlorose then necrose; typical symptom window 3–10 days, full kill longer.
• Spectrum: Broad-spectrum on annual grasses & broadleaf weeds (pigweed, amaranthus, crabgrass/foxtail types, goosegrass, etc.); persistent soil activity also suppresses regrowth.
• Advantage: Very long residual soil control + cheap "base-layer" barrier; WP packs small & ships easy, but needs continuous agitation and thorough tank/boom cleanup to avoid staining & carryover onto next crop.
