Formulation:
Atrazine 80% WP
-
Dosage:1.5kg-2kg/ha
Product Feature
Technical Requirements
Crop/Timing: Mainly field corn / maize (also sugarcane in some markets). Apply pre-emergence (PPI/PE) or very early post-emergence; once weeds are past early stage, rely on tank-mix instead of solo.
Dose: Typically 100–200 g a.i./mu range per application (≈125–250 g product/mu depending on soil organic matter & rainfall/irrigation); follow local label ceiling — total atrazine a.i./season capped in many regions.
Product Performance
Action: Soil-residual + foliar uptake; PSII inhibitor → photosynthesis collapse → chlorosis → necrosis.
Spectrum: Strong on annual broadleaf weeds and many grasses (pigweed, lambsquarters, foxtail, crabgrass, etc.).
Advantage: Very cost-effective backbone with long residual, especially under limited irrigation/rain; WP format = simple logistics, but needs good agitation and thorough rinse of sprayer to avoid staining/carryover injury on next crop.
