At present, the general feeling of the Pesticides Industry people is: pesticide prices rose too fast, could not follow up the rhythm of prices increasing! The continuous rise in the price of pesticides, the maximum power from the sharp rise in raw materials, including the recent chlorine rise alarming up to 158%.
November-December in previous years, the price of pesticides is lowest, it is a good time to make storage. Now, many pesticide prices rose more than 10% than a month ago, even more than 30% of the individual, such as Monosultap 95%TC metric ton price rise from 15,000 to 22,000 yuan, rose up to 46.6%; profenofos metric ton price rose from 34,000 yuan to 46,000 yuan, an increase of 35.3%.
Basic raw materials of pesticides as the main bulk of coal, liquid chlorine, caustic soda, methanol, benzene, ammonia, phosphorus, alcohol, sulfuric acid, sulfur, methylamine, ethylamine, formaldehyde and so on. Since the National Day, has been affected by supply and demand, climate, capital and other factors, more continuous rise of raw materials after the stock futures hit a record, coal prices have been rising for a month.
The Pesticides Idustry People believes that policies of energy conservation and emission reduction promote prices increasing of raw materials. At present, China is in the end of "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" , "Twelve Five" plan will have to start, energy conservation and emission reduction task is urgent. In order to complete the energy saving goals, energy saving wind suddenly blow over. The basic raw materials of pesticides price skyrocketing is attributable to energy conservation and emissions reduction, resulting in chlorine, alkali, ammonia, methanol and many pesticide intermediates supply and demand imbalance, prices rise sharply.
Tidal wave of price increases makes the pesticide industry and up-downstream dumbfounded. The low inventories and inadequate supply of intermediates of pesticides continued tight supply of pesticides. Since 2010, pesticide prices fall all the way from the beginning of the year, most of the pesticide prices are the lowest prices of history. Therefore, the Technical, formulating plants and distributors have to sell the stock, current inventory is almost empty. In the October 19 CAC meeting held in Shanghai, most manufacturers do not offer, because the prices of pesticides rise rapidly, mainly due to rising of raw materials, manufacturers’ profit is very low. |
